Cosmetic tables

The first cosmetic tables, predecessors of the current ones, are known from the seventeenth century Madame de Pompadur era. Every corner of the marchioness Castle, standing on the bank of the River Seine, have been decorated with luxury make-up tables, often gilding coated, rich in carvings, decorated with blazon compositions.Elsewhere, little later common cosmetic tables in America were a bit more modest, well, at least in terms of decor - American "Chippendale" style.Throughout the nineteenth century it was very popular to produce tables in a variety of Neo designs.In our times, every woman or a girl crave for at least a short stay as princess.And where is better to do it, if not at your house sitting next to an antique make-up table...
